so karl and i registered for these cool photo coasters that you put your picture in, right? they are glass so we decided we were going take pictures of ourselves where it looked like our faces were smashed up against the glass. this is my first attempt at one such picture. photography credit to one lance turner!

Little Rock Shower
this is a pic of the table pre "digging in." one of the most important parts of a wedding shower is, of course, THE FOOD! the food at this shower was great - little sandwiches, fruits, and lots of sweets!
new family!
me, mary kay (karl's mom), and mimi (karl's grandmother) (or meme as i like to spell it!) at the little rock shower. there were lots of cameras going off so we aren't all looking in exactly the same direction.
Opening presents!
opening my cute picnic basket from kristen, karl's sister! it had fun orange and pink (my wedding colors) plates and cups outside. It was one of the many great presents I received that day!
Little Rock Hostesses!
the hostesses of my little rock shower were renee hughen, longtime family friend of karl's mom, and Elaine Robus, also a family friend and mother of john robus, one of karl's good friends and groomsmen. they were wonderful and i appreciate the shower!
karl and the girls!
karl showed up later to pick up the gifts and say hi and thank you to everyone. we took a quick picture of audra, elizabeth, karl, me, and kristen... the girls of little rock!
